COACHING FAQ's

What is coaching?

The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines Life Coaching as "...partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential."

A coach helps a client move from where they are to where they want to go. Whether that is in an area such as: personal, professional, relationship, finance, wellness or any other area, a coach will help you clarify your goals and dreams, create action plans to achieve those goals and dreams, and help you stay focused on your outcomes.

What coaching is not:

Therapy - which is rooted in the past and helps a client move from dysfunctional to functional.

Consulting - which diagnoses problems and provides a solution based on a consultant's agenda.

Mentoring - which is a relationship based on the mentor's experience in a particular area of expertise.
